Why bother

Self-taught, then certified

11 certificates, January to August 2026

I taught myself first. I'd shipped client apps before I ever touched a formal course. So why bother?

Two reasons. Proof, for anyone trusting a young developer with a real project. And the gaps. Teaching yourself means you learn what you need when you need it, and that leaves holes. These courses filled them and put structure around instincts I'd picked up on the job.

Every one maps to something I actually do: UX behind the interfaces, AI and prompting behind the builds, and agentic coding tools behind the daily workflow.
